However, Gustavo Henrique has shown symptoms of COVID-19 and will miss out as they test to see if the defender has contracted the virus.

Thiago Maia has definitely tested positive for coronavirus and will be absent, along with suspended duo Gabriel Barbosa and Diego.

Centre-back Rodrigo Caio remains sidelined with a knee injury.

This is will be the Rubro-Negro’s first league game since the humiliating 4-0 home defeat to Internactional last Sunday, which left them in fifth place in the Brasileirão heading into this weekend.

They did manage to bounce back in midweek with a 4-1 Copa Libertadores win over Olimpia in Paraguay.

While this is down as a home game for the Mengão, it will be played in Volta Redonda as maintenance work continues on the surface at the Maracanã.
