According to Globo.com, new Corinthians right-back Pedro Milans is on an intensive programme at CT Joaquim Grava, training in double sessions and effectively completing a short pre-season before he can be considered by coach Dorival Júnior. He has no set debut date after joining as a free agent following his Peñarol exit.
The Uruguayan took part in his first ball work with the squad on Wednesday morning. He remains short of peak fitness, but is working daily to match the group’s level.
His last match for Peñarol came on 30 November last year. Time without games, followed by holidays, cost him some conditioning.
He has performed well in tests and will be integrated step by step. There has been visible improvement in recent days, and although no debut has been pencilled in, his condition is not considered a concern at Corinthians.
A Juventud academy product with youth caps for Uruguay, Milans spent the last four seasons at Peñarol. In 2025 he played 42 times and recorded two assists.
He joins as the immediate back-up to Matheuzinho. His contract with the club runs until 31 December 2029.
