Pedro Neto pushed a ball boy during Chelsea's 5-2 defeat at Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last-16 first leg, then presented the youngster with his shirt after the final whistle.

According to L'Équipe, the flashpoint came in stoppage time beside the PSG bench when the ball boy refused to return the ball as the winger tried to restart play quickly.

Moments earlier, the same ball boy had returned the ball very quickly and PSG coach Luis Enrique was seen speaking to him. There is no indication Enrique asked him to slow down. On the next passage, he turned away with the ball, declining to hand it over.

After the contact, the ball boy went to ground, prompting a melee and confusion. Spanish referee Hernandez chose not to book Neto, and calm was restored. The Portuguese hugged the youngster before play resumed.

At full time, Neto returned to the touchline to give the ball boy his shirt.
