Chelsea will face off against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park this Saturday as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues managed to secure an impressive 3-1 win away at Cardiff City recently, which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.
Enzo Maresca will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a lot of changes to his first team for this clash. Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer and Robert Sanchez could all play from the start of this game.
Robert Sanchez will operate in between the sticks for the Blues after being rested in midweek. Wesley Fofana will function alongside Trevoh Chalobah at the centre of the Chelsea backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the game.
Malo Gusto will fill in as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to go forward and express themselves in the Newcastle half.
Benoit Badiashile will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Enzo Fernandez will anchor the midfield along with Reece James as they focus on winning the 50-50 duels at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Alejandro Garnacho, Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto will operate just ahead of them as part of Maresca’s attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Blues are to come out on top this weekend.
Andrey Santos and Moises Caicedo will have to be content with a place on the bench as they await their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.
Joao Pedro will spearhead Chelsea’s attack up top. He would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet after being rested on the bench in midweek.
Marc Guiu will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if Chelsea are in need of a goal by then.
