Chelsea will entertain Burnley at Stamford Bridge this Saturday as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Blues managed to secure a dominant 4-0 win over Hull City in the FA Cup recently, which should give them some confidence ahead of this game.

Liam Rosenior will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first XI for this game. Joao Pedro will probably get the nod to lead the line for the West London club up top.

4-2-3-1 Chelsea Predicted Lineup To Face Burnley

Defence

Robert Sanchez will operate in between the sticks for the Blues after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. Wesley Fofana will function alongside Trevoh Chalobah at the centre of the Chelsea backline as they focus on keeping the opposition at bay during the 90 minutes.

Reece James will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Jorrel Hato looks to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will try to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Josh Acheampong will offer cover for the centre-back positions on the bench. However, Marc Cucurella will be sidelined for this game due to a thigh injury.

Midfield

Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo will operate as the holding midfielders for Chelsea as they try to dictate the tempo of the game from midfield.

The gifted trio of Estevao, Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto will play just ahead of them as part of the Chelsea attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Blues are to secure a good result this weekend.

Andrey Santos and Alejandro Garnacho will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Joao Pedro will lead the charge for the West London club in the final third. He has to find a way to be a real threat up top.

Liam Delap has to be content with a place on the bench as he waits for his chance to shine in the latter stages of the game if the Blues are in need of a goal by then.
