According to Diario Vasco, Pellegrino Matarazzo is close to renewing his contract after reaching an agreement with the club’s hierarchy.

The 2026/27 season officially began on Wednesday.

There were no additions announced.

Matarazzo, Jokin Aperribay and Erik Bretos marked the accord with a joint handshake, underlining progress with the coach from New Jersey.
