Speaking after Manchester City’s win over Leeds, Pep Guardiola provided an update on the condition of Nico O’Reilly and Erling Haaland. Pep Guardiola revealed that Nico O’Reilly suffered an ankle injury which forced him to substituted after 70 minutes at Elland Road. When asked about Nico O’Reilly’s injury, Guardiola said: “It’s for the ankle. He (Nico O’Reilly) had a knock in the ankle and played on and was out.”
Guardiola also revealed that he is unsure if Erling Haaland will be available for Manchester City’s upcoming Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest. Although, Guardiola did mention that Haaland has time to recover for the match. He explained: “I don’t have any answer right now. So he was not ready for today, but we have four days before Nottingham Forest and after, three days to the FA Cup at Newcastle at 8pm.”

Pep Guardiola’s side are set to enter a critical phase of the season. They face three critical matches in three competitions next.
