A new report has detailed where Manchester City’s pursuit of a replacement for Pep Guardiola stands at present amid uncertainty over his future.
The Blues are navigating a cloud of doubt over Guardiola’s future at the Etihad Stadium as the Catalan approaches the final year of his current deal.
Guardiola has been heavily linked with an exit from the club at the end of the current campaign however, amid a growing belief in Premier League circles that the 55-year-old will part ways with City this summer.
The Manchester City manager has maintained he is under contract when probed on his future in recent months, citing that he is excited by the prospect of leading a new-look dressing room to silverware after a transitional few seasons on the pitch.

Former Manchester City assistant Enzo Maresca, who was relieved of his duties as Chelsea manager on New Year’s Day, has been widely reported as the leading candidate to succeed Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.
