Pep Guardiola signed off his press conference with a playful nod to West Ham, shouting "Come on you Irons!" as Manchester City chase Arsenal in the Premier League title race.
City beat Brentford 3-0 on Saturday to close the gap to two points, with three matches remaining for both sides. According to L'Équipe, Guardiola delivered the line as he wrapped up his media duties.
He rose from his seat and crossed his wrists, mimicking a chant and gesture favoured by Hammers supporters.
The Catalan indicated he still believes the race is alive with the run-in approaching its climax.
West Ham host Arsenal on Sunday at 17:30.
