Valencia CF legend Pepe Claramunt will perform the honorary kickoff at the club’s next match, to be played this Saturday, May 2, 2026, against Atlético de Madrid at Mestalla Stadium. This year, 2026, has been declared “Claramunt Year” to mark the 80th anniversary of his birth (July 10, 1946). It is also worth noting that this upcoming match will be Valencia CF’s 1,500th LALIGA game at Mestalla.
