Pepê stayed at FC Porto to make history

The last transfer window brought several informal approaches to Pepê’s camp, although none developed into a concrete offer. According to Record, Roma, Flamengo, Palmeiras and two clubs from Saudi Arabia showed interest in the FC Porto player.

Despite having been informed about those contacts, the Dragons’ number 11 felt it was not the right time to leave. Pepê did not push for a transfer and also did not raise the expectations of the interested clubs.
