Pere Marco has agreed a two-year move to Gimnàstic de Tarragona after spending last season on loan at Unionistas de Salamanca. The 22-year-old striker now continues his career in Primera RFEF.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, Castellón are shaping their 2026/27 squad while weighing up whether Pablo Hernández stays as head coach and planning incoming signings. As part of that process, several players outside immediate first-team plans are being moved on.

Signed by Castellón as a prospect, Marco broke into the first team in professional football. He made eight competitive appearances across LaLiga Hypermotion and the Copa del Rey, scoring once.

At Unionistas last term he featured regularly and finished with six goals, becoming an important figure in their attack. That form attracted interest from multiple Primera RFEF sides before Nàstic sealed a deal.

The move ends his association with Castellón and takes him away from SkyFi Castalia. He now begins a new chapter at one of the division’s historic clubs, aiming to establish himself and progress.
