Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya and centre-back William Saliba made the top ten in their respective positions in the final FIFPRO XI voting for 2024.
Manchester City star Ederson was voted as the best goalie in the starting XI by 21,266 professional men’s footballers, with Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk and Real Madrid duo Dani Carvajal and Antonio Rudiger making the three-man defence ahead of the Gunners centre-back.
Saliba placed sixth in the final top 10 list, with Man City duo Kyle Walker and Ruben Dias also ahead of the Arsenal star.
The France international has been one of the best defenders in the world in recent months, and he has continued to put in some impressive performances for the Gunners this term.
Raya was voted ninth in the top goalkeepers, and it is a decent achievement after the campaign he had with Arsenal last term while on loan from Brentford.
Both Saliba and the Frenchman will be pleased with their positions in the 2024 FIFPRO World XI and will hope to break into the main team next year.
The North Londoners will have to win a major silverware for the duo to have a better chance of that happening, and the club are currently challenging for the Premier League and Champions League this term.
The likes of Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Magalhaes and Bukayo Saka will also be looking forward to making such a prestigious line-up, and they have what it takes to do so.
Arsenal are currently third in the Premier League table after 15 games in 2024-25, with six points separating them from leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.
They remain very much in the title race despite some disappointing results this term, and manager Mikel Arteta could look to bolster his squad for the second half of the campaign when the January transfer window opens.
