Inter Milan center-back Stefan de Vrij has joined the Netherlands national team for October’s UEFA Nations League fixtures.

After a 5-2 romping of Bosnia & Herzegovina in their curtain-raising outing, the Dutch held Germany to a 1-1 draw last time out.

Stefan de Vrij wasn’t alongside Virgil van Dijk at the heart of Ronald Koeman’s backline last month due to injury.

However, he’s back to full fitness and ready to return to the starting XI against Hungary.

De Vrij took to Instagram with a photo of himself in training, stating: “Daily dedication.”
