Manchester City’s pre season win over Palermo took an unexpected twist when new Dutch signing Tijjani Reijnders shirt featured his name spelled incorrectly.
Reijnders who scored twice in City’s 3 - 0 victory wore shirt reading "Reijinders" with an extra "i" in his surname. The error spotted instantly by fans, quickly went viral on social media drawing flood of humorous comments.
From Milan to Manchester
The 26 year old joined City from AC Milan in Jun for 55 million euro potentially rising to €70 million, on five year deal. Since arriving he's impressed in the FIFA Club World cup and during pre season showcasing versatility in both defensive & attacking midfield roles.
