The forward scored a brace as the Blades won comfortably at Hillsborough on Sunday.
A photo of Sheffield United forward Tyrese Campbell has caused a real stir on social media following the Blades' convincing victory against rivals Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Sunday afternoon.
Sheffield United comfortably beat their arch rivals by three goals to nil, with Campbell scoring a brace to ensure that he would once again play a key role on derby day, having scored the winner against the Owls at Bramall Lane last season.
Tom Cannon came off the bench and scored his first goal of the season to round off an excellent day for Chris Wilder's men, who will hope that the result can be a catalyst for them to put a good run of results together and steer clear of the relegation zone in the Championship.
It was a difficult day for Sheffield Wednesday, who have battled against the odds this season, as they were forced to watch the Blades celebrate yet another victory in the Sheffield derby in front of their jubilant away fans on the pitch at Hillsborough.
However, Sheffield United's gloating was not limited to those post-match scenes on the pitch, as a picture posted on social media after the game also got under the skin of several Wednesdayites in the aftermath of the game.

Sheffield United forward Tyrese Campbell tormented the Sheffield Wednesday defenders on the pitch, and he also caused a stir off it with his antics both on the substitutes bench and on social media.
The 25-year-old was seen cupping his ears in the direction of the Owls' supporters after being taken off in the second half, much to the dismay of the Hillsborough faithful, before a photo of him that was uploaded to Sheffield United's official X account later in the evening did nothing to cheer up the Wednesday supporters.
The post featured Campbell sticking his tongue out in front of Sheffield Wednesday's badge inside Hillsborough, which triggered plenty of responses from Owls fans who were less than impressed by the photo.
"You'd think you'd won the World Cup the way you've gone on. So odd," - @ThomasClay3
"Don't get too ahead of yourselves you're still fighting relegation," - @swfctw
"Fighting relegation and 3 points against a team in administration but acting like you've won the Champions League. Whatever floats your boat I guess," - @FYPM1989
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the reactions from Sheffield United supporters were slightly more positive.
"Admin on a generational run," - @aviationbyjames
"It is a good night indeed, admin breaking a record for rattling a whole fanbase," - @Ellis5183158813
"Love it. To all the whining Karens. If they had beaten us they would be exactly the same. This is class haha," - @kasha2014

While supporters of the Sheffield clubs made their feelings known underneath the photo of Campbell in front of Wednesday's badge, some neutral fans stepped in to show sympathy for the Owls.
"They are on their knees as a club, this is cheap and classless. You are hardly flying yourselves," - @AyresomeMark
"There's no need to do that in front of the Sheffield Wednesday badge. Show some class fella," - @JackHatcher91
"You've just beaten a team that's on its knees... magnificent achievement," - @p_bielby
Sheffield Wednesday supporters will hope they can find a new owner sooner rather than later. Who knows, if something can be sorted out in time for the January transfer window, they might be in with a chance of getting their own back in the reverse fixture at Bramall Lane in February.
