Real Madrid head coach Álvaro Arbeloa was left in a state of shock and awe by a moment of utter magic conjured up by Arda Güler on Saturday.

Los Blancos were of course back in action a short time ago, welcoming Elche to Spain’s capital for a La Liga matchup.

When all was said and done, the evening’s hosts emerged 4-1 victors, to close within a point of table-topping arch rivals Barcelona.

The aforementioned Arda was introduced to proceedings off the bench during the 2nd-half, and wasted little time in making his presence felt.

In fact, with just minutes remaining in the 90, the 21-year-old produced a genuine La Liga Goal of the Season contender.

Spotting Elche goalkeeper Matías Dituro off his line whilst deep inside his own half, Arda directed nothing short of a stunning left-footed strike high into the Spanish night sky, and into the visitors’ net.

And safe to say, the young midfielder’s moment of genius did not go unappreciated on the part of his manager.
