A leading member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has this weekend unveiled a new hairstyle.

The player in question? Federico Valverde.

Uruguayan international Valverde, for his part, made a promise in the buildup to last season’s Champions League final.

The 25-year-old announced to the club’s fanbase that, in the case of he and his teammates emerging triumphant against Borussia Dortmund, he would die his hair white.

In the end, this is precisely what Los Blancos managed, owing to goals on the part of Dani Carvajal, and Vinícius Jr.

Valverde, for his part, had since spent his time lining out for his country at the Copa América, before enjoying some much-needed vacation time with his family.

Ahead of linking back up with the rest of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for the club’s pre-season tour of the USA, though, the midfielder, this weekend, followed through on his aforementioned promise.
