Barcelona’s future kits are already generating huge attention, and a new report from Mundo Deportivo suggests that Nike are preparing one of the most daring designs the club has ever seen for the 2026/27 season.
Weeks after the first leaked images of Barcelona’s home shirt surfaced, new visuals have now emerged showing a completely different jersey concept that could mark a major shift in style.
These latest images, published on Saturday, reveal a design that breaks away from traditional football aesthetics.
Rather than following familiar patterns, Nike appear to be deliberately pushing into the world of fashion, creating a shirt that feels as much like a lifestyle piece as a match kit.
The jersey features a striking retro look, split into two contrasting sections. One half is grey, the other black, with both parts separated by a bold zigzag line that immediately catches the eye.
The material also plays a key role in the concept, with a texture designed to resemble the thick cotton jerseys worn decades ago, rather than the ultra-modern fabrics seen today.

There is also strong nostalgia built into the finer details. Nike are reportedly considering adding the brand’s legendary external authenticity label, a classic touch that many older fans will instantly recognise.
If included, it would further reinforce the idea that this shirt is designed to honour the past while still feeling innovative.
Nike are expected to use Mineral Yellow for the logos, creating a sharp contrast against the darker base of the shirt.
What remains unclear is how this jersey will be used. Barcelona and Nike still need to decide whether the design will be approved for official competition or released as a special edition intended mainly for fans and collectors.
Given its strong fashion influence, there is a growing belief that it could be positioned as a statement piece rather than a regular match kit.
