An unforgettable night for Francesco Pio Esposito. The young striker, just 20 years old, scored his first goal in the top flight of Italian football in his third appearance. Wearing number 94, he came on for Marcus Thuram in the 64th minute and impressed with his hard work, battling for every ball and holding up play effectively. He will never forget the 82nd minute. Dimarco whipped in a low cross from the left, the ball found Esposito in the box, and he smashed it home with his right foot to make it 2-0. A moment of pure joy. Tonight, Pio became the fourth-youngest Italian player to score for Inter in Serie A since 2000, following his brother Sebastiano (17 years and 172 days), Mario Balotelli (17 years and 238 days), and Marco Davide Faraoni (20 years and 74 days).
