Sabrina Wittmann, the first woman to lead a men’s professional side in Germany’s top three divisions, has signed a new contract with Ingolstadt.
The club confirmed that the 34-year-old has agreed an extension, with the duration undisclosed.

Her previous deal with the third tier team was due to expire at the end of the season.
Wittmann was appointed permanently in June 2024 after a stint as interim coach, cementing her historic breakthrough.
Assistant coach Fabian Reichler has also extended his contract, with no term disclosed.
