Despite a strong performance, Inter Women ended the first leg of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup Round of 16 with a defeat. The Nerazzurre created chances and played well, but they were unable to recover from the setback, after an unfortunate own goal by Rúnarsdottir from Tindell's cross just four minutes into the game. The return leg will take place on Wednesday, November 19 at 18:30 CET at the KONAMI Football Centre, offering Inter the chance to turn the result around and reach the quarter finals.
