Entering the field in the 35th minute of the second half of Italy-Belgium, with the score at 2-2, the Roma talent became the youngest player – both Roman and Roma, coming from the Club’s youth sector – to debut for the Azzurri.

Pisilli has surpassed the record of Francesco “Kawasaki” Rocca, who until October 10, 2024 was the youngest youth product to wear the Italian uniform at 20 years and 57 days.

Rocca was a starter in Yugoslavia-Italy 1-0, a friendly on September 28, 1974.

The absolute Giallorossi record holder, in this particular ranking, not considering territorial origin, remains Nicolò Zaniolo: as a Roma player, he was included for the first time in the Italy list for Italy-Finland on March 23, 2019, at 19 years, 8 months and 21 days, at the Dacia Arena in Udine.
