Lazio mounted a late 2-1 comeback at the Stadio Giovanni Zini. Substitute Tijjani Noslin set up the leveller then curled a last-gasp winner against Cremonese.

According to The Laziali, Nuno Tavares was outstanding, his surging run kick-starting the equaliser, while goalkeeper Edoardo Motta endured a day to forget after his error gifted Federico Bonazzoli the opener.

Motta also nearly allowed Bonazzoli a second before recovering with two late saves. Noslin’s introduction flipped the match, his clever touch teeing up Gustav Isaksen for a cool finish before the Dutchman bent in the winner from Boulaye Dia’s pass.

Alessio Romagnoli kept Antonio Sanabria quiet, though Oliver Provstgaard looked shaky and Adam Marusic offered little going forward. Patric ran tirelessly, then made way for Nicolo Rovella, who improved the rhythm. Kenneth Taylor seemed short of his usual drive with the Coppa Italia final ahead.

Daniel Maldini struggled as a false nine and was withdrawn at half-time. Mattia Zaccagni built fitness on his return with 60 minutes, while Pedro could not quite connect with team-mates. Fisayo Dele-Bashiru added muscle in midfield.

The result was Lazio’s 13th Serie A victory of the campaign.
