Raul Jimenez has kept the door ajar for a Wolves reunion after the Fulham game, prompting a surge of supporter reaction.

“Why not? There is always a possibility. Let’s see.” He was speaking to ExpressAndStar.com after Wolves’ final home game, which also understands there have been early conversations about a potential return.

“It would be nice, more after today, let’s see.” Asked if a move could happen this summer, he added: “I don’t know, maybe. But I don’t know.”

The Mexican is the club’s record Premier League scorer with 40 goals, netting 57 in all competitions before departing in 2023. He has since scored 28 times in almost 100 appearances for Fulham.

Many fans welcomed the idea, urging Jimenez to come home and arguing his experience could be valuable, including at Championship level.

Others were cautious, citing his age of 35 and calling for younger, Championship-proven players capable of delivering a 20-plus-goal season.
