FLW's Plymouth Argyle fan pundit believes that the club is in disarray with Simon Hallett and Tom Cleverley starting to come under fire

Plymouth Argyle's below-par start has shattered the confidence and hopes of the Pilgrims' supporters for the League One season ahead.
Plymouth Argyle's 2-0 loss to bitter rivals Exeter City was a dampening blow to the spirits of the Argyle faithful after such high expectations heading into the season having faced relegation from the Chmapionship last term.
With 23 games down, the Pilgrims currently occupy the final relegation place but could finish lower than that by the end of the gameweek, with Burton, Peterborough, and Blackpool below them still yet to play.
13 points on the board and averaging a point a game up to this point is far from what fans expected to start Tom Cleverley's time in the dugout. If the pattern is to continue, then the ex-Watford boss could face heat from the fanbase if not already.

After being tipped as contenders to make an return to the second tier at the first time of asking prior to a ball being kicked, the Pilgrims are a long way of achieveing that feat and need a change in fortunes soon, otherwise their first season back in League One could result in being a relegation battle.
With fans shocked at the current situation at Home Park, its no surprise that supporters are demanding sweeping changes at the club which could well include club owner Simon Hallett as well as Cleverley. The Devon defeat certainly solidified their thinking as the problems on the pitch won't happen overnight.
Football League World's Plymouth Argyle fan pundit, Luke, believes that a complete overhaul may not be the answer to their troubles, but can understand why many Plymouth fans have started having those thoughts.
"It was really, really bad. The club is in a bit of a mess. Do we need massive changes? I don't think it's going to help. I don't think Simon Hallett walking out at the moment is the answer. I think he's got a lot to answer for in terms of appointments at the club. You know, your Randall's, your Fox's, and even I'm beginning to question Cleverley now, and I really want him to do well and I hope he does. But here we are, a dozen games into the season, and I genuinely think we've regressed from the first time this group of players played together."
"I don't see any style of play, I don't see any patterns there's no fight, there's no quality. It's a young side, but the balance is all wrong, and I just don't see what we're trying to do. I don't think he [Cleverley] knows what his best eleven is. Certainly none of the fans know what eleven he's gone to pull out from one week to the next."
"I don't doubt that we've had some bad injuries with the likes of important players like Amaechi and Watts. However, it's just going from bad to worse at the moment."

It's no surprise that in recent weeks the Pilgrims supporters are starting to point the figures at the hierarchy of the club due to experiencing times of turmoil for the best part of 18 months now.
With two losses on the bounce and a draw prior to that against Wigan, danger signs are ahead for the Pilgrims, and especially for Cleverley. Obviosuly a manager's performance is relative to the club's expectations, and with the Plymouth expected to be at the other end of the table at this point, it wouldn't come as a surpirise if Cleverley's reign is slowly drawing to an end.
FLW's Plymouth Argyle fan pundit, Luke, hopes that Cleverely's tenure doesn't come to such an abrupt end with just over a dozen games in charge, but if things continue in the same vein it may be hard to resist his sacking.
Luke said: "I understand why people are calling for Hallett's head, and I ceratinly understand why people are calling for Tom Cleverley's head at the moment, because it's worrying, and we now have three or four away games potentially in a row and I'm struggling to see where we're going to pick anything up from."
"Confidence has been absolutely smashed, and we looked like a rabbit in the headlights on Thursday night. Exeter fully deserved the win. They looked like a real team, a good unit, and I've said in previous posts that I think we'll be absolutely fine, but this may be a knee jerk reaction but I don't think it is. I genuinely see us fighting to stay up this season, because I just don't see where improvements are coming from."
"We'll continue to get bullied by teams and the way it's going, we'll continue to get played off the park by other teams, so worrying times."
"We definately need changes in January, we definately need additions to the squad. Whether Cleverley will be there by then, I don't know. I think if we continue the way we're going over the next three or four games, it's going to be pivitol to see whether he's still there. And I hope he is.
"I hope he [Cleverley] turns things around and we start to play some decent football, but it seems like groundhog day from one week to the next. The same interviews, the same players, the same things 'we must do better, we must do better', but at what point do things need to change? Or else were going to be facing back-to-back relegations, so worrying times."
