Alex Mitchell is open to joining Plymouth Argyle permanently from Charlton Athletic
Plymouth Argyle boss Tom Cleverley is already planning this summer's transfer window amid his side's ongoing League One campaign.
Argyle strikers Bim Pepple and Lorent Tolaj have both been eyed by Celtic, but Cleverley is focused on making the acquisitions that can strengthen his ranks.
The Pilgrims still have an outside chance of landing a League One play-off spot this term, but they were left disappointed by their defeat to Luton Town in their EFL Trophy semi-final.
Plymouth can push themselves towards a top-six place by beating relegation-threatened Doncaster Rovers at Home Park this Saturday.

Alex Mitchell has been a reliable asset for Argyle this term, making 35 appearances across all competitions since joining on loan from Charlton Athletic last summer.
Cleverley has already confirmed that Plymouth are keen on signing Mitchell permanently this summer, while the defender scored in last month's 4-0 win at Blackpool.
The 24-year-old made 31 appearances for Charlton in League One last season, but was sent on loan to third-tier outfit Argyle rather than staying in South London to fight for a place in Nathan Jones' Championship team.
Discussing his future with Plymouth Live, Mitchell said: "It's a hard one when you are under contract, you want to be respectful. I think the lads know I do enjoy it here, everyone can tell.
"I really enjoy it here, like proper. It's a place where I really enjoy going into work every day. The people are top, I don't think there is a bad egg in the building.
"Not just the playing staff, the people when you do media stuff. I did the Senior Greens and really enjoyed it. Just stuff like that, other clubs you probably wouldn't get that.
"Next year, obviously, there is stuff you can't control. I know coming here this season happened late because of stuff you can't control. It's definitely something I would be looking at, but there is other factors. I live far from home, I don't see my family as much as I would like to, so it's a hard one.
"Obviously, all the lads are the same, and that's just football in general. So it's something I will look at. Charlton kind of hold all the cards at the moment with what they want to do, but if they were to let me go, I would definitely really consider it."

Mitchell's comments strongly suggest that he will join Plymouth permanently this summer, if his parent club, Charlton, are willing to facilitate the move.
Meanwhile, Jones' side have failed to win their last four Championship games, but should have enough quality to stay in the second tier beyond the current campaign.
Following last term's promotion, the Addicks have deemed Mitchell surplus to requirements, with Jones able to depend on fellow centre-backs such as Lloyd Jones, Reece Burke, and Amari'i Bell.
Therefore, allowing the man currently on loan with Plymouth to join the Pilgrims permanently makes sense for both clubs involved, while the defender is keen on the move.
If Argyle fail to land a play-off spot this season, Mitchell has shown enough quality to prove that he can help them launch a stronger promotion bid next term.
