Local officials in Poissy are intensifying efforts to attract Paris Saint-Germain, seeking to host the club’s proposed new stadium on their patch.
According to L'Équipe, the Yvelines town, which secured the Campus PSG training centre in 2016, now hopes to be chosen to build the future home of the two-time European champions. Players moved into the complex in July 2023, with an inauguration in November 2024.
Poissy is vying with Massy, in Essonne, and with Paris for the Parc des Princes option.
Determined to follow that success with a second flagship project, the municipality is doing everything it can to win over the club’s hierarchy.
The campaign underscores Poissy’s bid to keep major PSG infrastructure within its boundaries.
