Punches were thrown in a few instances, while flares were tossed on to the pitch then lobbed back towards the packed main stand.

Officers were seen running across the turf to break up scuffles, and at least one police dog was present.

The pitch was eventually cleared, with stewards and police moving fans away. The dispersal took at least 15 minutes. More than 1,500 people had watched the final.
