Unbeaten Port Vale won the West Midlands League Division 1 North title, Lincoln United completed an East Midlands double.

EAST MIDLANDS – Lincoln United complete league & cup double

League Cup Final – Lincoln United added the cup to their league title by beating Basford United 5-0, Ellie Gilliatt bagging a brace.

League Plate Final – Rotherham United came out on top 3-1 against Division 1 South runners-up Kettering Town, with Jessica Broadhurst, Milly Colford and Lauren Winter their scorers.

NORTH EAST – Hartlepool relegated

Premier – Hartlepool United’s 3-2 home defeat to Sunderland West End saw them relegated on goal-difference, as Harrogate Town survived. Wallsend BC won 4-1 at Wakefield to finish level on points with fourth-placed South Shields, as their hosts stayed goal-difference behind seventh-in-the-table Alnwick Town.

1 North – Sunderland U-23s ran out 5-0 winners at Washington on Wednesday, before putting 21 goals past eight-player Chester le Street United on Sunday. Daisy Cook led the way for the champions with five goals, Isla Baxter got four and there was three each for Jessica Barker and Emma Weiss, while Chester le Street -who had just narrowly avoided the drop – could not field a full side for the final game.

WEST MIDLANDS – Port Vale promoted

Premier – Lye Town substitute Macy Fox scored in the 2-1 defeat of champions Worcester City, Libby Veitch hit a hat-trick as Shrewsbury Town overcame Coundon Court 10-0. Coventry Sphinx got the better of Kidderminster Harriers by five goals to three, Dani Selmes scored twice as relegated Crusaders beat Solihull Sporting 3-0.

1 North – Port Vale clinched the title despite their match at Walsall Wood being abandoned. Vale led 5-0 at the time, aided by an Olivia Grocott hat-trick, but injuries for the hosts left them with too few players are carry on. AFC Telford United were left as runners-up, sending Tamworth to an 8-1 defeat as Megan Jones notched a treble. Leek Town Reserves won 2-0 at Newcastle Town, while games this midweek saw Walsall Wood and Lichfield City Reserves share eight goals, Newcastle draw 1-1 with Tamworth.

1 South – Hereford Pegasus edged Worcester City Development 3-2 on Tuesday as Roxana Dinescu came off the bench to score. Leamington Lions drew 3-3 with Bewdley Town on Wednesday, while Redditch Borough’s fixture with champions Alvechurch on Sunday was abandoned after torrential rain.
