It has been a near-perfect first-half for the Portland Timbers as they scored four unanswered goals, including a pair of absolute beauties vs Sporting KC.
First, Kristoffer Velde unleashed a powerful knuckleball strike to open the scoring from long range.
The goalkeeper could only watch as Velde's effort dipped and swerved into the top-right corner.
Then, the Timbers doubled their lead through a lovely team goal, finished by Kevin Kelsy and assisted by a first-touch backheel from David Da Costa.

But which is better, a ferocious, long-range knuckleball or an exquisite passing move?
