Porto begin Sporting semi-final prep, five players on medical bulletin

According to O Jogo, Porto began Sunday morning preparations for the clássico with Sporting, the first leg of the Taça de Portugal semi-finals, scheduled for 20:45 on Tuesday at Alvalade.
Martim Fernandes completed an integrated but conditioned session and Thiago Silva stepped up to conditioned work. Both remain on the medical bulletin, as do Nehuén Pérez, who trained conditionally, Luuk de Jong, on treatment and gym work, and Samu, receiving treatment.
Borja Sainz, mourning the death of his mother, missed the session at Olival and is due back tomorrow.
Defenders António Ribeiro and Luís Gomes, midfielder André Oliveira and forward André Miranda, all from the B team, joined first-team training. Under-19 goalkeeper Gonçalo Barroso was also involved.
Tomorrow’s schedule includes a morning session, with Francesco Farioli set to preview the clássico from 15:30.
