Porto host Famalicão in Liga Portugal on Saturday, 4 April 2026 at Estádio Do Dragão, with the leaders aiming to tighten their grip on the title while the visitors look to reinforce their push for Europe.
Porto are unbeaten at home in the league and have bossed this match-up, winning 4-1 here in the Taça de Portugal in December 2025 and 1-0 away in November. Their season has been solid at both ends.
Form points to a high bar. Porto come in with four wins and one draw across their last five in all competitions. Famalicão are lively too, taking four wins and a draw in their last five league outings to climb into sixth.
The hosts are without Luuk de Jong, Nehuén Pérez and Samu Aghehowa through injury. Aghehowa is Porto's leading league scorer with 13 this season, so the finishing burden could shift towards William, on eight, with service from Victor Froholdt and Gabri Veiga, both on six assists. For Famalicão, Gil Dias has six assists and may be key on transitions.
Defensively, Porto have conceded only 11 goals in 27 league games with 18 clean sheets, and they are yet to lose at home. Famalicão have scored 10 away league goals, so they may need to be efficient to crack the leaders' defence.
A win would move Porto to 75 points and strengthen their position at the summit. Famalicão, on 45, could consolidate sixth and edge closer to the European places with a result.
