Porto manager Martin Anselmi was asked about Claudio Ranieri’s comments from the first leg and how they could influence tomorrow night’s display at the Olimpico.
The Argentine coach addressed the media during his pre-match presser today.
“Ranieri’s words after the first leg? I didn’t hear them and I don’t like to comment on things I haven’t seen or heard. I only read a few words, but they could have been taken out of context.”
“Ranieri is a super experienced coach and I’m aware that he can create an environment in which pressure can be put on and certain decisions can be influenced because of it.”
“I want a just refereeing display. I don’t want to be given anything. I want a match in which the referee makes the correct decisions. Tomorrow we hope to see a match in which the referee can impart and administer justice.”
