Portugal and Al-Hilal full-back visits Corinthians shop at Parque São Jorge

The right-back João Cancelo, from the Portuguese national team and currently at Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia, paid a visit to the official Corinthians store at Parque São Jorge, the club’s headquarters. The club’s own department recorded the moment and shared it on Saturday morning.

“Thank you for the visit. It’s a pleasure to have you as a customer, João Cancelo! Go, Corinthians!”, wrote the official profile of the club’s store in a post made on social media on Saturday morning (29).

This isn’t the first time the Portuguese right-back has shown affection for Timão. Cancelo has appeared on other occasions wearing the club’s shirts. Both in September this year and in December 2024, he posed with striker Malcom, who came up through Corinthians, wearing last season’s kit. Before that, in August, he was photographed at a shopping mall in Lisbon wearing the 2021 uniform.

The Portuguese player’s connection with Timão has already been explained by the athlete himself. In June this year, he revealed that he admires the Corinthians fans and said he identified with the club, including because of the colors. According to Cancelo, Brazilian friends—especially Malcom—strengthened this bond, always praising the passion of the Fiel.

At 31 years old, Cancelo remains highly regarded on the international scene. Since 2024, he has played for Al Hilal, but his resume includes stints with European giants such as Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Juventus, Inter Milan, Valencia, and Benfica.
