Multiple sources in Italy claim Benfica defender Antonio Silva is the latest player Juventus are monitoring to replace the injured Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal.
The Bianconeri will need at least one new defender in the January transfer window to replace injured pair Bremer and Cabal, who are not expected to play again in 2024-25 after suffering knee injuries.
Several reliable sources in Italy, including Gazzetta, Sky Sport Italia and Tuttosport, claim the Serie A giants have set their sights on Portuguese centre-back Antonio Silva, currently under contract with Benfica.
The 21-year-old has made ten appearances across all competitions this season and shares the same agent—Jorge Mendes—with his compatriot Francisco Conceiçao, who joined Juventus on loan from Porto last summer.
Antonio Silva is only the latest defender linked with a move to Juventus in the January transfer window.
The Old Lady’s shopping list also includes PSG’s Milan Skriniar and Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior.
