Portuguese prosecutors ‘to demand’ illicit ticket profits in FC Porto case | OneFootball

Public prosecutors are days from filing charges in Operação Bilhete Dourado and are preparing to seek illicit profits from defendants through the perda de vantagem mechanism, Jornal de Notícias reports.

The probe centres on an alleged illegal ticket-resale scheme at FC Porto, allegedly led by former Super Dragões chief Fernando Madureira.

The resales are said to have generated millions of euros over recent years.

About 25 defendants are expected to face charges of irregular sale of tickets, abuse of trust, money laundering and infidelity. The club has joined the proceedings as an assistant.

Those named include Madureira and relatives, other Super Dragões members, and seven employees of Porto Comercial, which handled ticketing under the previous board.
