Celtic kicked off their UEFA Europa League campaign with a 1-1 draw away to Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade on Wednesday night.
Kelechi Iheanacho was the goalscoring hero for Brendan Rodgers' side, producing a great finish early in the second-half to give the Hoops the lead.
And at the back, 19-year-old Colby Donovan produced another impressive display in what was only his fifth first-team appearance.
Speaking to Celtic TV after the game, Kelechi Iheanacho said: “It felt really great, playing my first European competition with Celtic. I’m happy to get a goal for the team.
“It was a great atmosphere, to be fair. We got a point here and hopefully we’ll get more points in the future.”
And Colby Donovan added: “to make my first European start, words can’t describe it right now.
“When I knew I was starting there were some nerves, obviously, but as soon as I came out for the warm-up, the noise went behind me and it was just time to play my football.”
Celtic are in UEFA Europa League action next Thursday, October 2 when they play host to Portuguese side, SC Braga (KO: 5.45pm).
And you can be at Paradise to back the Bhoys in what will be a vital European tie.
