Prados resumes on-pitch work at Lezama

Beñat Prados jogged and worked with the ball on Pitch 1 at Lezama on Monday, the only Athletic player currently training apart from the group with seven league games remaining.

As reported by as.com, the session was a recovery day for the starters who faced Villarreal on Sunday.

Prados underwent cruciate ligament surgery on his knee six months ago, and in recent days he has combined field sessions with gym work and physiotherapy to ease the final phase of his recovery from a troublesome injury.

The rest of the squad, including Paredes, Sannadi and Egiluz, trained with the group during the 15 minutes open to the public at Lezama.

Athletic are preparing for their next fixture against Osasuna at San Mamés on Tuesday 21.
