Liverpool head coach Arne Slot praised young talent Rio Ngumoha after the team’s 3-1 win over Wolverhampton in FA Cup on Friday.

The 17 year old winger delivered impressive display and caught attention with his ability to beat defenders in one on one situations.

Slot highlighted this quality after the match saying players who can regularly win individual duels are rare in modern football.

The Liverpool coach added that it was special to see such young player influence match between two Premier League side even though the game was played in the FA Cup.

Slot sees big potential in the teenager

Slot stressed that Ngumoha showed clear talent and confidence during the game. According to the Dutch coach, the youngster has the tools to become an important player if he continues to develop.
