Corinthians released behind-the-scenes footage on Monday night of their 4-0 win over Vitória in the 13th round of the Brasileirão Feminino, a result that put them back on 31 points, two clear of São Paulo.

In a Corinthians TV video shot at Canindé, the footage tracks the squad’s arrival, a relaxed build-up and the on-field warm-up.

As kick-off neared, focus sharpened and fitness coach Liliane Cruz urged calm, care and clinical finishing, noting the warm-up had been done well.

Once the game began, the favourites delivered. Vic Albuquerque scored twice, with Gisela Robledo and Ariel Godoi also on target.

It was a particularly emotional morning for Godoi, who walked out with her daughter for the first time and dedicated her goal to her father, who died two weeks ago. She was delighted with the win and her strike, grateful for a starting berth she is striving to secure, and determined to keep working hard.
