After getting beaten at home by Manchester United on Saturday night, Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior admitted that the only good thing was that his team had another game coming up soon to try and put things right.

Well here we are on Tuesday, and Chelsea are getting ready to take on Brighton. Who will the Blues boss pick to try and get a result?

Chelsea to pick strongest possible side to take on Brighton

Rosenior will pick the strongest team he has, regardless of the fact there’s an FA Cup semi at the weekend. That means former Seagull Robert Sanchez in goal.

In defence, we don’t expect Reece James will be fit so Malo Gusto will continue. We’ve got a feeling Trevoh Chalobah will be fit again, so he can play alongside Jorrel Hato with Rosenior finally able to drop the pathetic Wesley Fofana. Marc Cucurella will line up at left back to face his former club.

In midfield, expect to see Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, with Enzo Fernandez pushed forward.

Alejandro Garnacho surely can’t start after his Saturday stinker, and the other wide options are injured. So Pedro Neto will play on one side and Cole Palmer on the other. Let’s pray Joao Pedro is fit to start up front after shaking off a thigh injury.

In other news…

Chelsea are being linked with Goncalo Inacio who is still playing really good stuff with Sporting.
