Premier League announce October Player and Manager of the Month nominees | OneFootball

The Premier League has announced the nominees for the October 2025 Player of the Month award.

Manchester City’s Erling Haaland scored all three of his team’s goals in October, taking his total to 11 for the season. His strikes included the winner against Brentford and a double in the 2-0 victory over Everton.

Bryan Mbeumo played a key role in Manchester United’s perfect month, recording three goals and one assist across three matches. He set up the opener against Sunderland, scored early at Anfield to end United’s long winless run there, and added two more in a 4-2 win over Brighton.

Arsenal’s Jurrien Timber stood out in defence as the Gunners kept three clean sheets. His consistency helped the league leaders secure victories over West Ham, Fulham and Crystal Palace, maintaining their unbeaten record.

Other nominees include Matty Cash, Bruno Guimarães, Nordi Mukiele, Igor Thiago and Eli Junior Kroupi.

Manager of the Month nominees revealed

The Premier League has also announced the nominees for the October 2025 Manager of the Month award.

Ruben Amorim is shortlisted after leading Manchester United to three straight league wins, their first such run since he took charge in November 2024. United started the month with a 2-0 win over Sunderland, followed by a 2-1 victory at Liverpool and ended with a 4–2 triumph against Brighton.

Mikel Arteta saw Arsenal win all three of their matches without conceding, moving four points clear at the top. Unai Emery have also achieved three wins from three with Aston Villa, who bounced back from a slow start to the season. 

Andoni Iraola guided Bournemouth to seven points from three league games, extending their unbeaten run to eight matches.
