FC Barcelona are looking for reinforcements to the attacking unit in the summer transfer window, with three players being identified as potential targets.
Indeed, the Catalan giants are looking at Alexander Isak of Newcastle United, Luis Diaz of Liverpool, and AC Milan’s Rafael Leao as options to strengthen the attacking department before next season.
Isak, for his part, is seen as the most-favoured option given the season he is enjoying at Newcastle United, coupled with the fact that he can play as a No. 9 or on the left flank.
However, signing the Swedish international will by no means be an easy task as Newcastle will not give up on him without a fight.
According to reports in England, as relayed by Mundo Deportivo, while Newcastle initially insisted that Isak was not for sale, they have now set a mammoth price tag of €200 million on the Barcelona target.

Newcastle intend to keep their star centre-forward even if they fail to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
However, if an offer worth €200 million were to come along, they might open the doors for a departure.
Isak is contracted with the Premier League giants until 2028, meaning they are under no pressure to part ways with him and hold a strong negotiating position even as several European bigwigs cast admiring glances towards the forward.
The €200 million price tag, though, might scare off some suitors, including Barcelona, who are recovering from a difficult financial position and might not have the wherewithal to pull off such an enormous deal.
