The trickle of news about potential transfer interest in PSG starlet Ibrahim Mbaye is starting to build. Today, TeamTalk are the latest outlet to report that Aston Villa are leading a line of Premier League clubs who want to sign the 18 year old after a breakthrough season in Paris.

PSG could yet persuade Mbaye to stay

Of course, given his talent, PSG want to keep him. But the quality of their attack is so great that they can’t offer him regular first team starts in the biggest games, and that may be a deal breaker for him.

We still think there’s plenty to offer Mbaye – he won’t be in the first XI, but he can rack up a lot of start, get lots of goals and assists and win trophies, as well as developing as a player under a great coach with great teammates.

It will all come down to the teenager in the end, and how much he wants to leave and be a regular somewhere.
