The Premier League has reportedly not charged any of its clubs for Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) breaches in 2023/24.

All clubs have been deemed compliant with the controversial regulations after submitting their accounts for last season before the 31 December deadline.

However, Leicester City remain ‘at risk’ pending the outcome of their ongoing legal case with the Premier League, according to The Times.

The Foxes escaped a points deduction last year following a successful appeal of an alleged breach due to a loophole in the rules.

It was ruled that the Premier League did not have jurisdiction over the club following their relegation to the Championship in 2022/23. The league have lodged an appeal, which has to reach a conclusion before any new charges can be brought.

“Issues as to the jurisdiction of the Premier League over Leicester City Football Club in relation to PSR compliance are currently the subject of confidential arbitration proceedings,” the Premier League said in a statement.

“Accordingly, neither the league nor the club will make any further comment at this stage about any aspect of the club’s compliance or otherwise with any of the PSR or related rules, save to say that no complaint has been brought against Leicester by the league for any breach of the PSRs for the period ending Season 2023-24.”

Everton and Nottingham Forest, who have previously received points deductions for PSR breaches, are both fine, while Chelsea are “comfortably compliant”, according to football reporter Ben Jacobs.

Clubs are permitted lose £105 million over a three-year period, but any losses above that figure incur a charge from the Premier League.
