Premier League game week 30: What you might have missed

Premier League Game week 30 is over, and there were some notable results. On Tuesday, Nottingham Forest completed the double over Manchester United with a 1-0 win. With the same scoreline, Chelsea defeated Tottenham Hotspur to complete yet another double over their London rivals in the league.

Here are five things learned from the game week.

1. Postecoglou’s Chelsea hoodoo continues as Spurs slump further

With both Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven back, Ange Postecoglou might have expected to finally turn the tide for Tottenham this season. However, it was yet another defeat to Chelsea for him. Thursday's result was his fourth loss to them in four league games since he arrived in North London.

At Stamford Bridge, they never looked like scoring. The closest they came was when Pape Sarr put the ball in the back of the net before it was ruled out due to a foul in the buildup by Sarr himself. The fact that they struggled to create a goal against a side that has kept just seven clean sheets this season will be particularly worrying for the Australian manager.

Only Manchester City and Liverpool have scored more goals than Tottenham this season in the Premier League. However, they find themselves 14th in the league standings. The loss to Chelsea was their 16th of the season. Only the bottom four sides have lost more.

Fans were keen to show their displeasure at times towards the manager. At the moment, the UEFA Europa League remains his only chance of some success at the club. However, with their form, it won’t be an easy path either.
