EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now eyeing 21-year-old attacker from Spain this summer!

One BBC pundit has pinned the blame on the players for the draw on Sunday, saying that they have to take a long hard look at themselves after that poor performance.

And head coach Enzo Maresca has also picked out two of his players for making some mistakes in the game which he believes was not good enough and cost them.

Overall though it was so poor, and blame really must be shared between the head coach, the manager, and those who have built an unbalanced squad at Chelsea that severely lacks quality experience and balance.

We all know that Robert Sanchez is not good enough to be the Chelsea number one, but in these latest set of ratings, he’s rock bottom!

FootballFancast have put together their list of Premier League goalkeepers and ranked them from best to worst, with 1 being the best.

They say they have taken into account the level of their performances and whether they meet the required standards of their current team.

Arsenal’s David Raya is number 1, followed by Nottingham Forest’s Matz Sels as number 2. Even Chelsea’s on loan goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga at Bournemouth is at number 7.

But you have to go all the way to the bottom of the list to number 20 to find Chelsea’s Robert Sanchez!

The publication writes:

‘Simply put, a player as poor as Robert Sanchez should not be Chelsea No 1. However, that’s the position the Blues are in despite splashing the cash on a number of goalkeepers in recent years.

‘Sanchez has been as error-prone as they come, flapping at crosses, giving away possession and being the furthest thing from Petr Cech in his heyday.

‘The Spaniard has been so bad, that his own manager even resorted to publicly calling him out, yet this has not had the desired effect of improving his performances.

‘Also making five errors leading to goals this season, Sanchez’s displays have been pretty disastrous this term, and for a club aiming to qualify for the Champions League, this arguably represents the biggest mismatch in the top flight.’
