Jean-Philippe Mateta shone on Saturday in the Premier League clash between Crystal Palace and Bournemouth (3-3). The French striker netted a hat-trick, scoring his third from the penalty spot in the 97th minute to snatch a point for his team.

Bournemouth had raced to a 2-0 lead in the first half thanks to Kroupi, but Mateta closed the gap with two quick-fire goals (64th and 69th minutes). Ryan Christie restored the visitors' advantage in the 89th, before Mateta's late penalty sealed the final score.

With this hat-trick, Mateta now has 5 goals in 8 Premier League matches and continues his excellent form, coming hot on the heels of scoring in his debut for the French national team last week.
