According to ExpressAndStar.com, Wolves benefited from an incorrect decision in their 2-2 draw at Brentford, with the Premier League’s Key Match Incidents Panel later judging the hosts should have had a penalty.
Brentford led 2-0 in the 41st minute when Kevin Schade was held by Andre. It was not given on field and VAR did not intervene.
The panel deemed the holding sustained and voted 4:1 in favour of a penalty, but said it was not a clear and obvious error, so VAR was right not to step in.
Wolves then fought back as Adam Armstrong and Tolu Arokodare scored to level at the Gtech Community Stadium, their final outing before a three-week break.
Arokodare struck the bar late on, with Wolves close to snatching all three points.
